[My thread names!]
Izuna walked along the road, nothing with her but her treasured black scarf, keeping an eye out for opportunities to make money. After a few minutes, she sighed and sat along the edge under a tree, "I've barely seen a town yet..."

Izuna trotted up to him after getting back onto her paws, "nice to see a fellow Eevolution around. Say, d'ya know if there's a town around here, or down this road?" She pauses, and then holds out her paw with a smile, "oh! Sorry, forgot to introduce myself, name's Izuna."

"Mines Dart.. and I believe theres a town up ahead... my parents called it Treasure Town." He replies as he looks at her. He was built like an average normal Umbreon. The only slight change was his left ear tip was gone. "I can escort you there if you want." He tells her as he looks at her

She smiled a bit, self-consciously pulling her black scarf closer to hide her growing blush. "Ah, well, you don't have to, but sure, you can if you want." The Leafeon looks to the side, "I don't mind the company if you don't."

He nods "I don't mind the company." He said as he smiles "Lets go then." He said as he began walking forward, stopping to look back at her

The Leafeon girl picked up her pace to walk alongside him, but not too close, though something in the back of her mind was telling her to.

He soon had led her to the town. "Here we are Izuna. Treasure Town. If you need anything more I'll be up at the guild." He says as he smiles as he begins walking toward the large wigglytuff building up the stairs

She glances around the town, at the unfamiliar buildings and frowns, "uh...hey, wait up Dart!" Izuna runs after him and then alongside him, "this is where the money is anyway, right?"

"Money? Well sorta, you gotta do rescue or wanted missions to earn anything." He tells her as they enter the guild and they're now at the job boards.

"Ahh...are they tough or something? No use being rich if you're dead after all." Izuna smiled a bit at her own joke, looking up at the boards curiously, <a letter ranking system huh? Not much different than home used to be...> She thought to herself, her smile faltering for only a moment.

"Well they are wanted felon pokemon who do bad things, some do more serve things like killing or raping other pokemon and they're put up for bounties on the wanted board list. They higher the ranking the stronger they are." He explains as he smiles at her warmly.

"I wish I had a frame of reference," she mumbled mostly to herself as she touched some random missions. "Mhh, I'll leave it up to you Dart."

Izuna shrugged, only really asking him because she would have no clue herself as to what she was doing. It certainly wasn't because she thought he was cuge or anything. Nope. "Sounds good to me Dart."

He thinks about it and smiles "I think that'd fit! Leaf Shroud it is! Now..." He looks through the jobs available and picks out the easiest one. "here we go, oyie a charmander dropped its berry while going through the Forest Of Light." He said as his ears drooped "Why do these stupid pokemon do such stupid things... reminds me of humans at times." He said with a sigh

Izuna tilts her head, "really? I haven't had much contact with humans, but I guess if you're dumb, then that's just how it is, Pokemon or otherwise." She reasoned with a shrug, "at least it keeps us paid~"

He nods "To true. Let's get this job done." He says as he begins walking toward the mystery dungeon.

She walks alongside him, unconsciously brushing up against him every now and then. "So, ever been to this place before?"

"Only when my dad was training me did he bring me to such a place. Getting me prepared for exploring." He replied while blushing because she was rubbing up against him. Soon they arrived at the place and it was an large forest with errie sounds and the occasional pokemon howl. "Here we are, Forest Of Mystery. It went by a different name before it became a mystery dungeon, Forest Of Light... I think dad called it. The client is on Floor 3. When your ready tell me." Izuna looked into the forest, "doesn't look very...light now." She took a deep breath and nodded to him, "third floor, sounds easy enough. I'm ready when you are Dart."

He nods "Most pokemon here are bug or grass, so be prepared." He said as he led the way in. He looks around as they were on the first floor, seeing multiple path ways. "You choose." He told her

The girl shivered a little at the mention of bug types, but look down each path. She closes her eyes, spinning in a circle before stopping with her paw facing down a random one, "this way?"

He nods and goes through first, they were lucky to hit the stairs immediately. "Wow that's a first." He said pointing to the stairs.

She giggles and runs ahead, "what can I say, I'm good luck!" The Leafeon quickly runs up the stairs, "we'll be done in no time!"

She frowned at that, "don't say things like that, because something might show up." However, the girl walked up anyway, "but good job finding the stairs."

He chuckles "At least they'll be easy to beat right? Not as tough as the higher ranked enemies." He reples smiling at her

"Yeah..." Izuna trailed off, simply walking forward, "um, can yiu remind me again what our mission was?"

He looks at Izuna. "To find a charmanders berry on this floor. So we gotta start looking around and see where it is." He replies as he looks around the room and doesn't see the item they are looking for

"Oh, a berry, why didn't ya say so?" She giggled and started sniffing at the air, "I'm assuming I'm looking for a spicy one?"

He shrugs "It didn't say what type or taste or scent, just a berry... kinda hard to find out which one it is isn't it?" He said as he looks around

Izuna tilted her head with a confused look on her face. "Got that right. How're we even supposed to know we found it when we do?"

"The joys of doing jobs with idiot employers." He responds as he looks around "Lets start searching, we'll know when we find the berry when the badge begins to shine as we have it." He tells her

She nods, "true enough...I guess it'd be faster if we split up. Holler if you find anything or need help, I'll be doing the same." The Leafeon flicks her tail and walks off down another path, keeping her eyes peeled and her nose working to see if she could find this berry.

"Becareful!" He tells her as she took off. He soon went in the other direction. He found the berry in a dead end. "Izuna?! I found it!" He said, hoping she didn't run into any trouble as he began making his way back to her

Since he had found it, her own search had been fruitless, and was about ready to call it quits before she heard his voice through the trees. "What?! Alright, I'll be right there!" She looked around, and frowned, quickly getting confused, "um...hm...which way...?"

Soon about 7 weedles with 1 beedrill appeared in her direction. The mysterious dungeon having wrapped their minds into mindless bugs with 1 instinct.... kill. They spoted Izuna and began charging toward her location.
Dart soon made it to where they were supposed to meet back up but not seeing her at all. He began to get worried and started to follow her scent.

At first the buzzing noise annoyed Izuna, growling until she turned to see the source. That was when her ears dropped in fear. Screaming, she took off blindly into the forest, trying to fire a Razor Leaf at them to make the insects back off.

Upon hearing her scream Dart made a mad dash in her direction, wanting to get there and protect her.
The beedrill dodge the attack with ease but 1 of the weedles weren't as lucky. Using a combination of quick attack and poison sting, it struck Izuna in the side of her flank, making sure to inject the poison internally. Her being a grass type doing this does devasating damage and the beedrill knew this.
"IZUNA!!" Dart howls, using quick attack to throw the beedrill off of Izuna and he stood over her growling menacingly at the attackers.

She didn't see it coming, barely able to fathom something being more agile than herself, and cried out in pain when his attack hit its mark. The Leafeon went down, bracing for the beedrill to euther kill her or eat her before suddenly it was thrown off. Daring to open hrr eyes a crack, a smile lit up her face, though her vision was becoming fuzzy. "Dart!"

Dart begant to growl menacingly, the looks in his eyes had completely changed from normal to feral with hatred. He unleashes a Dark Pulse sending the weedles flying. Then he charges and directly tackles the beedrill sending it spiraling in the air before it regained its composure. Both the beedrill and Dart began to circle each other in a predatorial state. Dart unsheathed his claws and charged as the beedrill charged. Dart spun in the air dodging the poison stinger and vanished immedately. Then there were blurr black barrages smashing the beedrill before dart reappeared on the ground and tackled the beedrill head on, this time sending it flying. He backflips and then lands on all fours.

Izuna can barely make out the details, but she could tell easily enough that Dart was winning, giving out a weak cheer when the Beedrill was launched. However, the poison was coursing faster through her body, since she was a grass type, and she started coughing violently before collapsing into unconsciousness. Her leaves were beginning to look a bit wilted, which was never a good sign on a Leafeon.

Dart immedately looked over, the looks in his eyes changing from the feral to a look of panic and fear. He dashed over to Izuna and picks her up, he touches the badge and they both teleport out of the mystery dungeon.
Within moments of exiting he began carrying her to not the guild.... but to his own home. The guild wouldn't have been able to help her.... but his parents..... his father.... maybe could help her. He ran as fast as he could while carrying Izuna.
In about 10 minutes he had brought her to his father.. who was also a Leafeon. "DAD!! HELP!! PLEASE!!" He barks hysterically. "Calm down son...." He checks Izuna over "We'll need to work fast if we are to save her life. HUN!! Bring the medical herbs and spices and hurry!" The larger leafeon said as he picks Izuna up and dashes off
Several hours go by as Dart is passing back and forth, his muzzle have dried spots because of him crying at times out of fear of losing his partner. He soon sees his dad walk out of the room. "Dad..... is she....." He began saying "No, shes perfectly fine now. Your lucky you brought her when you did. She might've not made it had you brought her later. Shes just asleep right now. We don't know when she'll wake up. This might take a while depending on how strong her will is." Darts father told him. "You can go in and see her."
Dart immedately dashed in and saw Izuna laying there.. tears began to well up in his red eyes as crawled over to her and layed directly beside her. He gently kisses her forehead and rests his head beside hers.

All she would really need now, as a Grass type, would be some fresh water and a bit of sunlight, since her leaves were still looking a bit wilted.

Darts father came in he opened the roof part to allow the sun in to shine on Izuna. He went out and then brought some water to her and put the tips of her leaf parts in the water to allow her body to absorb it and then left, knowing she and dart needed time together.
Dart watched his father do the things he did. Then looked at Izuna... his partner... his friend.... thats when he realised the emotions within his heart..... deep with his heart..... she was more then a partner.... more then a friend.... she was someone who he wished to be at her side forever, loving her and protecting her. He lays his head against hers gently and whispered 4 words... "I love you Izuna...." He then went to sleep keeping close to her.

The girl smiles and walks over to the station, after watching Dart do it, she just mimics his movements and then joins the table at his side.

Darts Umbreon mom uses psychic and is able to give everyone their meals and smiles at them both "Eat up you 2, you both got some work to do when you both head back to the Guild." She says "You'll need all the energy and strength you can muster." Darts mom said and smiles as Dart begins to slowly eat, murring at the taste

Izuna nods and starts eating as well, her eyes lighting up as she starts to devour the meal more quickly. "Wow~! This is incredible, the contrast of flavors actually works in a perfect harmony~!!"

Darts father smiles "Its an family recipe that Sheila here taught me. Maybe some day i can teach you it." He says as Dart eagerly devours his meal, he always enjoyed his parents cooking.
