She looked rather...angry. She hated it when people assume her to be a cold stone killer when she was doing more than that. "I don't think you understand where I come from. I wasn't just killing people for fun, I was doing it to survive, to protect my family. Everyone on the planet of Pandora was most likely doing the same. I just...keep these...weapons...as mementos...but I am done with it now, I haven't even shot anyone in the past month."

Varesse was now getting angry...and upset. "Do you have any idea what it's like on Pandora?! I had to use these! Otherwise my entire family would be dead right now...including myself..." Tears started to form in her eyes.

"No, because I've never heard of a planet called pandora and I thought earth was the only planet anyone could live on!" he retorted then saw her tears, "Ah! No! Please don't cry! I'm sorry!"

She sniffled. "Well...there is another planet...called Pandora. I was born there...I watched my mother be maimed and ripped apart..." She purposely fell forward, letting her arm cover her face as she progressively started to cry.

Dmitri let out a startled yelp and rushed to her side, gently putting her back but having nothing to say.

Varesse chirped in surprise. Why would he help her if she was thought as a psychopathic murderer? "W-why are you helping me? I though you said that I am 'not the kind of company I would hang around with'..." She wiped her nose with her arm.

She cleared her throat and sniffled again. "...um...ok..." She used the same arm and wiped the tears off her face, taking a few deep breaths.

She sighed. "I guess so..." She sat there for a moment, thinking...and suddenly, she hugged him. "T-thank you..."

She slid away from the hug, still a bit sad, but for the most part relieved. The half-alien hybrid sighed, more out of randomness than anything. "I should clarify...when I killed others on Pandora...I only killed those who would take the lives of the innocent...mostly Bandits and Threshers, or Loaders..." She drooped, expecting him to just walk away and leave her.
