The Middle of Nowhere (Seichi/Eon)

She smiled up at him. It was slight, but it was the first real smile in more than a year. "Y-you would?" The petite umbreon asked and nuzzled into him a little closer before he stepped back.
"Oh... I hadn't thought about that... I think It'll been fine just between the two buildings, but I don't think I should actually leave anywhere."

"Neither of us should," he added, tossing the salads into a bowl and placing them onto the table.  "What I wouldn't give for some oil or something like that though...the berry juice I'm trying to use as a dressing is kinda...sticky."  The Leafeon takes a bite, "at least it tastes pretty good though...might have to think about stealing someone's farm animals or something though, or we won't have a balanced diet."

She nodded in agreement. In spite of everything, she still wasn't a vegetarian. "I could go for some torchic meat or something," she mused as she scarfed down her salad.

"You uh, don't mind if I'm stealing as long as there's no killing, right?" Nathan questioned, talking between bites to try and prevent himself from talking with his mouth full.  Though his hunger was making him forget that at a few points.  "It's probably the only way we'll be able to live now."

"As long as we don't lose sight of the fact that it's wrong," she said softly, "And that we stop as soon as we're able."

He was going to remind her that the day would probably never come, but actually, he was a farmer, if he just stole a few of each animal, he could get them to breed so they'd actually have a steady supply.  "Fair enough."
