(Private between Mino and Yummy)

[Tamama Nitohei]

It was late at night a little after midnight, the moon was reflecting a bright light tho so it was easy to see still. A Growlithe, a large one the size of an umbreon named Hideaki, was sitting on a rock in the middle of the field. He was laying as if sleeping but wasn't actually able to. "Ug...what a dull day... can't rest after doing nothing all day..." He groaned as he stood up on the rock. "Think I'll get a drink or something." He said as he jumped down and walked past a few trees surrounding the field. Past the trees would be a near by lake.

[Mino]

The night was nice and cool, and dark enough to make slightly larger houndoom named Patton take his steps out into the night. He, however, wore a stern and dark emotionless look on his face, but this was of the norm of him. He has been this way ever since his escape from his horrid prison back at his prior home, and his occupation, as a captured pitdog.

But, though he carried this fog around with him, he moved into the night. He was pretty thirsty from the days without water and food. He has not had any luck in finding either for some time, his body actually grew weaker by the day. But he knew he was near a pond, the smell of the water was in the air, and he simply followed the scent. His paws not making a single sound.

Hideaki lapped at some of the watter drinking away till he was no longer thristy "Ahh better." He said then  stared at the water, "Guess I'll train for the night then...." He thought outloud as his paw would glow and a book would appear in the ground. It looked ancient and had odd symbols. "Ok what spell can i learn..." He said as he looked through the pages.

[Mino]

Patton walked along the ground with his eyes scanning every bit of terrain. Hopping and jumping like a feline at times to climb over obstacles, just to get to one area, and soon he found it. but with a sneer on his face. He was in no mood to see another body, and with a Growlith in his view, he could give a small quiet low growl.

But soon saw a small light of green, and this made him slightly curious at what this being was doing, so, like a small child, he began to move around in the trees,looking over and into the general area of the pokemon. Only to be surprised to see the Growlith reading...a book? He simply stared at this, why would a pokemon be reading? It is not like they could speak human tongue. But it did make him even more curious, and he sat and watched from a distance. Wondering what this pokemon was able to do.

The characters on the page was of no human language, nor any pokemon type of language either and how he was able to read it was a mystery it's self. Hideaki was easily able to pick up on the houndoom's pressence but he felt it would be no threat, or atleast nothing he couldn't handle. "Let's see... never got around to mastering any of these healing stuff... wouldn't hurt to learn atleast 1..." He mumbled to himself as his paws started to glow again and he whispered words to himself.

[Mino]

He looked harder as he watched the paws begin to glow, and this made his eyes grow wide with wonder. This was so out of the ordinary, what was that pokemon reading to allow him to us such abilities, and so use them well? What was he? No pokemon had this ability before to Patton's knowledge, what was he really looking at?

But this also made him take a more defensive stance, this was the unknown. He did not know what else this pokemon could do. So he had to be careful, he did not want to be caught to off guard like he was now.

[Tamama Nitohei]

Hideaki continued useing his spell but in the end it did nothing really. "Failed again hu...guess i should leave that type of magic to Kazuki..." He sighed then picked up the book. "It's rude to just stare and not introduce yourself you know." Hideaki said as he tossed the book as if just randomly but it would hit the houndoom on the head.

[Mino]

HE looked at the pokemon with a sudden look of some shock. How did the pokemon know that he was there? There was no air to carry his scent anywhere, but he dropped his thoughts the moment he watch the book that the growlith carry almost land on his head. But he instead caught it with his muzzle, and simply chunked the book back hard and with speed.

[Tamama Nitohei]

Hideaki blinked and ducked so the book would fall into the lava. "Hm, so there really was someone back there, guess being paranoid helps." The fire type chuckled then his paws glow to make the book disappear tho since it was in the water it looked like he did nothing. He then turned to look through the trees to see the pokemon that threw back the book.

[Mino]

Patton gave a small glare through the trees to the Growlith, and gave a small sigh, he then simply stepped out and looked at the pokemon. he was still in a very defensive stance, but he was sort of waiting for the other to make a sudden move.

<Who...and what are you?>

His tone was as cold as ice, and his face was as emotionless as it could get.

[Tamama Nitohei]

Hideaki blinke and smiled looking up at the houndoom. He was a bit happy and wagged his tail, he had a big of a thing for canine's that were bigger then him. "Names Hideaki, and I am a gowlithe obviously." He snickered. "And you are?" Hideaki asked as he looked over the dark fire type's body.

[Mino]

He looked at the Growlith with a strange eye, why the sudden change of attitude, and why did he all of a sudden feel rather different in this Growlith's eyes? He could not really fathom what was going on in his mind, but he did however give a slight response.

<My name, is not one for me to share, especially to one who can do what you do. You are not of the norm Hideaki.>

He spoke colder as he looked at the happier emotion and vibe the Growlith brought forth.

((ACK lost track of time. I gotta go. BYES!!!))

[Tamama Nitohei]

"Heh, your one to talk buddy." Hideaki rolled his eyes obviously not careing for how cold  the houndoom spoke to him. "Well what ever, I'd say i'm the most norm of my palls... but think what you want I guess." The growlithe said as he walked over an sat infront of the lake, his back turned to the dark type. "So why are you here? Were you planning to hunt me for a midnight snack?" Hideaki asked without looking at the houndoom.

(heh, was wondering why you were still here. kay bye)

[Mino]

The Hondoom gave a small step toward Hideaki, and gave a small snort. Though he knew that the one in front of him was obviously one of the norm, it did not make him feel comfortable cause of what he had seen. But, he was not going to jump to conclusions...not yet anyways.

<No. I was originally here for a drink. But maybe I could change my plans a little.>

[Tamama Nitohei]

"Oh really? Change them how so? I'm more then willing to become a friend if you like, we don't have to be enemies." The Growlithe said as he turned his head to look at the larger dog and gave him a smile.
